Heather Gillett

Heather Gillett, FNTP, BCHN is a functional nutritional therapy practitioner who is board certified in holistic nutrition. Heather knows how terrifying it is to live in a body that isn’t working the way it should with, no way to escape. She began a quest to understand how to foolproof herself from a body that malfunctions.
Her first career in pharmaceuticals gave her an understanding of how western medicine can help the human body. Medicine is a necessary part of our lives, especially when something goes terribly wrong in a body, but it doesn’t hold the answers to lifelong health. Still finding herself uncomfortable in her body without any reason a doctor could repair. She discovered that she was expecting too much from her doctors. It was time to take more responsibility and create a healthy body instead of expecting a prescription to put her back together. An understanding of the symptoms a body displays when it’s lacking essential nutrients to run their daily functions taught her to listen to her body as well as how to respond with the correct foods and nutrients.
