Recap of 2022 with Melissa Vogel | 148
In this week’s podcast, I recap a few of my favorite podcast episodes of the year. I wish I could pick them all, but here’s a sampling of what you’ll get when you listen!
In This Podcast
Nate was such a great guest and I can’t wait to have him back on. He explains that how you do one thing is how you do everything and how he lives by that. We also discuss how important it is to know the basics about your body and how to stay healthy as well as how much our society is giving in to comforts. Nate knows his stuff and you are going to love his episodes!
I’m talking to the Busy To Bomb Fit Mom coaches in this episode and they both talk about the importance of making the time now for your future self. Julie talks about how it would be easy to hide all winter and then when summer comes around, you’re still carrying the extra weight you had before the holidays. If we make time now, if we start sooner rather than later, we’ll already be ahead of the game. Both of these ladies make great points about holding yourself accountable all year.
Tiffany is a member of my Bomb Mom group and she talks about losing her daughter to SIDS. She’s been through so much and she shares how important it is to focus on yourself. As moms, we don’t take the time to take care of ourselves. We’re at the bottom of our lists and if there’s time, we can use that for us. Tiffany explains how getting the workouts in makes her a better wife and mother. Taking that time for you can make such an impact on your entire family!
Amy is a Bomb Mom who has helped so many people with their businesses and she was lacking one thing that she knew she wanted. Her health and fitness goals. She’s on track to accomplish those goals (she looks AMAZING) and she explains how much the program and my coaching technique has really helped her get on track and stay on track. She’s so great and if you don’t think you can work full-time and have a family, and stay fit, listen to this episode and you can hear Amy explain how she seems to do it all!
Joe Hudson was a fantastic guest who really hammered home the identity shift and what needs to happen for us to fully commit to change. It’s easier for us to shift to a negative mindset than a positive mindset so Joe explains that we need to feel and move our emotions instead of hiding them away. When we can work through the negative to get to the positive, it’s going to be easier to have an identity shift. The key is to know who you are and who you’re becoming.
