Ignite Your Daily Routine
Do you struggle with infertility? Have you tried every avenue to no avail? Are you putting too much emphasis on how you want to have your baby that it’s holding you back?
Meet Carol Silver
“Carol’s creative career spans two decades of Television Development, Production, Writing & Special Events. While at ESPN she co-created and co-produced the show “Dream Job” which ran for three seasons and tripled ratings in its timeslot. Most recently she’s produced notable shows and specials featuring President George W. Bush, President Jimmy Carter, Kevin Costner, Luke Bryan, Kid Rock and just about every well-known NFL player.
Her days are spent driving too fast, cursing too much, downing two iced mochas a day and most importantly: watching Coco Melon and stalking trains and planes with her toddler son, freaking out about reptiles near her lake home and burning her loving husband’s dinner…daily.”

Infertility struggles
“It’s all a blur”
Carol (like a lot of women) had been struggling to get pregnant. At first the doctors said it was unexplained infertility. However, after six miscarriages, and 10 rounds of IVF, Carol finally got her miracle baby. She’s the only one in her family that seems to have had these struggles because her mom and sister had no problems conceiving. Then, in her last attempt at having a baby she got an answer about the infertility issues she was having. Scar tissue from a surgery years prior could be releasing a chemical that stops the embryos from surviving. But this embryo had attached to an organ and was threatening her life.
Work life balance
Carol found out she was pregnant only a few days before a big trip for work. She figured there was no way she’d be pregnant after so many failed attempts so she took the gig and went on her way. While away, she received a phone call from her doctor in which she explained the issues that come with an embryo that attaches to an organ. She was instructed to get to an emergency room quickly if she’d felt any pain and that she would have to stay out of town longer than anticipated because she was not going to be able to fly.
Lose your must’s
Her hail mary endzone pass was working with a surrogate. Still there were issues and red flags being brought up, however, Carol was not going to give up on this baby. When all was said and done Carol got her beautiful baby boy. And, if there’s one thing Carol wants you to take away from her story is “Lose your must’s”. Having too many demands about how, where, when, you want to have a baby is going to harm your chances at being the parent you’ve always wanted to be. And being a parent is the end game here, not the who, what, and when’s.
