How do you handle failure? Are you keeping your goals in mind? What’s stopping you from succeeding?
Today we welcome our co-host and fellow bomb mom Julie. We will discuss failure, the ugly stuff in life that puts a lot of us in a stand still and how to power through. When most of us think we’re failing, we’re actually not, we’re learning how not to do things and growing even though right now we feel a sense of incompleteness.
Failure is a BIG word to overcome. We have to realize that we aren’t failing we’re just having a hard time. And, as long as we’re moving forward we’re succeeding. It just takes longer sometimes depending on what our goals are. Keep moving and be proud of yourself for not giving up.

“Real failure is not taking steps forward”
As women we are so hard on ourselves. We need to stop settling to prevent failure. There is no reward in settling, there is no joy or happiness in feeling like you did “just ok” or “good enough”. Success will come. But not before many hardships. Appreciate failure, it got you to where you are now, it has prepared you for the hardships you’ve been through and rewarded you with the many things you already have. This is where you are meant to be and if not you’re well on your way.
“You cannot go forward if you stay where you are”
Be open to the possibility for change, take accountability and make it happen. Ask yourself how to fit it (whatever your goal is) in. We multitask for everyone else but not ourselves. Understand that without failure you will not grow. Get yourself some tough skin. You are loved and supported. Love your journey and who you’re on it with. And, no matter how many times you stumble, get back up, you will not fail. Remind yourself you cannot fail.
You have created children, you’ve dealt with loss, heartache and you made it through. You are amazing! Hold onto that. Watch your dreams come true. One step at a time but take the steps. Nobody is going to tell you how to grieve when things go south, allow yourself to feel it all and get past it, come back better. Don’t forget to celebrate your wins because they are a big deal. Whether its a small win or a big one, allow yourself to feel that too. Have as high a hope for yourself as you do for everyone else. Figure out what’s gonna work for you and stop comparing yourself to others. Some wake up at 5am and do all the things, which is great! And some just try to make it to 5pm, which is equally great! Just get there. Write your own story.
