Time is sacred
“How do I balance it all?”
So how do you balance everything? Simple, you don’t. As a mom, your time is sacred, redesign your life to work for you. We try to do and be everything and spread ourselves so thin that at the end of the day we often feel like we accomplished nothing. Find the one thing that gives you joy and make time for it. It’s not selfish, it’s healthy. Wake up before the rest of your household even if it’s only 30 mins to do whatever that thing is that’s going to give you joy. This is your chance for that alone time we both know you never get anymore. And your day will start on a more positive note as opposed to the alarm and immediate chaos of getting ready for work, school, etc.
A community of moms
At Fit4Mom there are fitness programs for all phases of motherhood. A woman’s body changes more in 9 months of pregnancy than a man’s body changes in his entire life. As moms, we need community sometimes. 1 out of 4 women suffer from postpartum depression. And who’s going to be more understanding and guiding than another mom who’s potentially already been through it? It’s time to invest in you. You owe it to yourself and to those children who are looking to you for an example of what a happy, healthy life should look like in adulthood. Ask yourself how you can be more positive and powerful, and go get it girl!
