Because you gotta have friends
Friends that workout with you and have the same goals are magical. You can hold each other accountable to showing up on time and doing the work. Who has gone to the gym alone when maybe they didn’t want to that day? Got on the elliptical to warm up and then decided to leave? No weight training and no sauna. Kudos for showing up but had your friends been there would you have done the same? Doubt it. Get yourself some gym friends or make some while your there. Nobody wants to be a “Gym Robot” who is only going because their husband paid the membership or doing the same exact routine every time they go. Those are the ones that eventually stop going and fitness should be a lifelong journey.
“Doing the workouts is going to get you to where you’re going”
Home gym vs. commercial gym
Home gyms are great! Peloton’s, weight sets, you name it. As long as they’re getting used though. If you don’t have a gym membership, get some friends together and workout via Zoom! You can do it, there’s always a way. Sure maybe your kids are running around like crazy people in the background or laying on top of you while you plank. But, that’s making you stronger too, work through the madness. Take care of you and it will reflect onto others. Now, commercial gyms have way more equipment than you can fit in your garage. And with all the different types of machines comes all different types of workouts. The possibilities are endless really. Then add workout buddies and it’s eye opening what you’ll accomplish. Summer body, no. Forever body loading…
Bomb Moms
Today Angela, Teresa, Kate and Emily share their triumphs and their favorite things about being Bomb Moms. All the lovely ladies today started in 2020! That’s almost (if not already) two years of being Bomb Moms. It’s amazing how this community keeps you wanting to come back.
“We are the sum of our top five”
Some of their favorite noticeable changes are their assertiveness, seeing more definition in their arms, and realizing that even though you’ll have the help and support you need, this is your own journey. Be proud. It won’t happen overnight but it’ll happen and others will see the change too. Now being held accountable is not the same as being forced. Nobody is going to force you, you have to do that on your own. It’s your journey, make it a good one .
