What power resides in your subconscious? Can you ‘hack’ your subconscious through short movies to manifest things you would like to be and have in your life? What does it mean to actually follow your heart?
In this podcast episode, Melissa Vogel speaks with Judd Armstrong about jump-starting your mindset.
Meet Judd Armstrong
Judd Armstrong is an Australian entrepreneur who arrived in the USA with nothing to his name but a wedding ring and a dream. Starting from a $10/hour retail job and tens of thousands of dollars of credit card debt, Judd had a wild idea to take on the big headphone brands and start a wireless headphone revolution.
So in 2006, Jaybird was born – in 2016 he sold it to Logitech for $95 million. Judd’s new mission is to create 1,000 amazing millionaires who live with purpose and do great things. Judd’s Bitcoin trading app, Unlisted Project, doubles money every six months. At that rate, starting with $5,000 today would make one a millionaire within 4 years.

- Judd’s advice to you for working with your subconscious mind
1. It’s gonna be you
Your projects and your future goals will start with you and end with you, and many people seek validation for their ideas externally and from other people whereas you can be a sustainable human being that fuels themselves. Of course, you will have people helping you along the way, but the vision is still yours and belongs to you, therefore it is up to you to carry it and make it your own.
2. Feel inspired
The way in which you keep pushing forward with your vision is to feel inspired and motivated by something greater than yourself.
When you look at anyone whose done anything great in life whether it’s Dr. Matin Luther King or that kind of level of greats … they have been inspired by a cause that was greater than them. (Judd Armstrong)
3. It is dressed in overalls
Thomas Edison said that many people miss opportunities because they are dressed in overalls and look like work. It will be a lot of work and that is why being and feeling inspired helps you to navigate the difficult terrain that you may encounter on the journey.
4. You gotta be a little obsessed
To be remarkable at something, you have to tap into that something special and create deep connections with your vision. Turn it upside down and around and act on impulse, stop thinking and just jump in, allow your subconscious to kick in and take the wheel because there is a lot of power in the subconscious work.
5. Passion and purpose
Contribute selflessly to the greater good of the community through using your gifts and passions and match those passions, for you, with your purpose, for everyone else. This is how we create meaningful lives, sharing our passions with others around us, and collectively elevating each other.
Judd’s advice to you for working with your subconscious mind
- When you decide to follow your heart in life, that is our compass. There is decision-making power in our gut, hearts, and minds. Make sure to follow your heart.
- Be passionate about the right things.
- It is not about having enough time but about making the time.
