Theta Wave Brain State
One of Sabrina’s specialties is “early childhood conditioning” where she gives an intuitive guide for people to access their subconscious mind. The work focuses on the formative years (0-6 years) when humans are in their “Theta Wave Brain State”, likened to a state of hypnosis. In this state, we have no filter and our identity is still being formed. We absorb the energy, emotional tone, and messaging of our early childhood environment as truth. We also start to develop beliefs about who we are, what we’re worth, and our relationship to the world. Our beliefs are stored unconsciously and drive our pattern of behavior in life. We manifest these beliefs in different areas of our lives, namely in the relationship that we have with ourselves. This sticks with us into adulthood as, once we’ve moved through Theta Wave Brain State, our emotional configuration is pretty much set, the way we feel about ourselves unconsciously is determined, creating an “emotional setpoint”. We’re conditioned in childhood and if we work to elevate that by shifting the way we feel about ourselves, we can actually change that setpoint and have it become a more positive one or one that’s more aligned with the kind of life we want.
Emotional imprints
Children internalize things that they hear about themselves when they are young. They start to believe it and it starts to form an identity of who they are around that message. They learn to identify with this belief that is now an emotional imprint, a belief that has concurrent energy associated with that belief. An experience causes a feeling which is triggered by the belief, they feed off of each other and become a pattern of behavior. The subconscious becomes programmed with that belief and you see evidence of it in all areas of life. It’s very difficult to change people’s mindsets because there is so much concrete evidence that has accumulated over the years and made us believe that it’s true. It’s difficult to shake that and shift that mindset, you have to believe something that there’s no evidence of yet in order to create the evidence of it. That is the key to manifestation.
Manifestation for dummies
What we hold in mind tends to manifest.
5% of our creative life is manifested by the conscious mind, 95% of everything we’re manifesting is driven by the subconscious. It is so important to understand what we’re holding in our subconscious mind. We need to do the work and dig deep into our subconscious programming to understand what we are holding in mind. When you bring the subconscious mind into alignment with your conscious desires, that’s where the real shift happens. The key to manifestation is to change your setpoint and we do that by programming the subconscious.
How to tap in
Manifestation is about the amplification of that which is already whole, perfect, and complete within you. A lot of people approach manifesting with wanting something that they don’t have. Money because you don’t have money, health because you’re not currently healthy, a partner because you don’t have one. These are all statements that are contradicting each other. We need to learn to cultivate the presence, awareness, and direct experience of ourselves as the source of what we desire. If we can tap into ourselves as the source of what we desire, then all we’re doing is amplifying something that is already within me, is already whole, perfect, and complete. If we use this as an existing frame of reference and learn to cultivate that feeling, then we will start to see evidence of that in our lives.
Addressing the pain
When you realize that you are the co-creator of your reality, that everything in your life is a manifestation of what you’re holding in mind consciously and subconsciously, then that puts you in the driver’s seat.
Sabrina’s first recommendation is to address the pain from early childhood. Some of us are aware that it is there and some of us aren’t. The way to determine whether or not there’s pain lingering from early childhood is to look at the evidence in your life and what you are manifesting. This puts us in the position of personal responsibility for our quality of life.
Willingness and taking responsibility
You need to be willing to take a good look at where you’re at and accept what it is that you would like to heal. We have to take responsibility for the problems that we have co-created before we can say what we want to create from here. We have to start working on our belief system. We are worthy of all of these things that we desire but we don’t necessarily know it or believe it. When we create affirmations and intentions, it’s important to start with willingness. The willingness creates an opening where evidence starts to trickle in, you start believing that you can access this reality, and it creates momentum and excitement to continue towards your goals.
Affirmations that we can use for our health and fitness
If you can start to love your body, the way that it is, whether it’s overweight, or tired, or saggy, or postpartum, or whatever state it might be in, you can start to love and accept yourself exactly as you are. Then what happens, energetically, is the love you feel for yourself starts to express itself physically. You start to feel it emotionally, the dialogue starts to become real, the non-resistance allows for more and more love. And then as we start to practice that self-acceptance and that non-resistance to what is the current state that I’m in, it becomes easier to shift and more effortless for your body to now, physically, express the love that it feels.
Willingness affirmations are a good place to start…
- I’m willing to believe that I can be in amazing shape
- I’m willing to believe that I can achieve amazing results
- I’m willing to believe that I can be in perfect health
- I’m willing to believe that I can be in the best shape of my life
If you’re a bit more advanced in your fitness goals:
- I am in perfect health
- I feel amazing in my body
We also want to address optimal health like eating well, feeling emotionally well-adjusted with our relationship to food, feeling good about ourselves, positive self-esteem, expanded self-awareness, and self-love. Sabrina’s signature affirmation:
- I am at peace with myself
